How to Combine Photos Into One PDF on iPhone or Android (No App)
Updated 7 October 2026 · 5 min read
Turn photos of receipts, documents or homework into a single PDF straight from your phone, using a browser or the tools already built into iPhone and Android.
Forms, landlords, schools and employers often want several pages as one PDF, but the pages are photos on your phone. You don't need to install an app or move the photos to a computer.
The quickest way: in your phone's browser
- Open JPG to PDF in Safari, Chrome or any mobile browser.
- Tap Choose images and select all the photos at once from your gallery.
- Put the pages in order with the up and down arrows.
- Create the PDF and download it. It's saved to your Files app or Downloads folder, ready to attach or upload.
Everything happens on your phone, so photos of IDs, bank statements or medical letters are never uploaded anywhere. It works the same on iPhone, Android and tablets.
Built into iPhone: the Files app
- Save the photos to the Files app (in Photos, select them, tap Share, then Save to Files).
- In Files, tap the three-dot menu, choose Select, and pick the photos in the order you want them.
- Tap the three-dot menu again and choose Create PDF.
Built into Android: print to PDF
- In Google Photos, select the photos.
- Tap the three-dot menu and choose Print.
- Set the printer to Save as PDF and tap the PDF button to save it.
The built-in options vary between phone models and system versions. If a menu item is missing, the browser method above works on any phone.
Make it look like a scan
- Photograph each page flat, from directly above, in daylight, with no shadow from your phone.
- Crop away the table or background around the page before combining.
- If the PDF is too big to email or upload, shrink it with Compress PDF, or to an exact size such as 200 KB.
