Good to know
- KB and pixels are different limits. A form may ask for both, such as 300 × 350 px and under 50 KB. Set the pixel size first, then compress.
- JPG for photos, PNG for graphics. JPG keeps photos small, while PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency in logos and screenshots. WebP does both well on the web.
- Check the result. The Image Dimension Checker and Image File Size Checker confirm a file meets the rules before you upload it.
