SALE-K7QM3XPA, SALE-9WTD4HRN, ...
Generate up to 10,000 unique coupon, promo or voucher codes at once, with your own length, prefix and characters. Look-alike characters can be left out so codes are easy to type, and the list downloads as TXT or CSV for Shopify, WooCommerce or a spreadsheet. Codes are made in your browser and never sent anywhere.
Making coupon codes that work
A good coupon code is easy for a customer to type and hard for anyone else to guess. Set how many codes you need and how long each should be, add a prefix such as SALE- or WELCOME10- so you can tell campaigns apart, and generate. Every code in the batch is unique, and each character is picked with your browser's cryptographically secure random generator, so there's no pattern to work out.
How long should the codes be?
| Use | Suggested length | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One public code for everyone | 6–8 characters | Short enough to read off a poster or say out loud |
| Single-use codes per customer | 10–12 characters | Long enough that nobody can guess another customer's code |
| Gift cards and high-value vouchers | 12–16 characters | Worth protecting; dashes keep them readable |
The tool won't make codes that are too easy to find by trial and error. If you ask for a lot of codes with a short length, it asks you to make them longer or allow more characters instead.
Make codes easy to type
- Leave out look-alike characters. On by default, this drops 0, O, 1, I and L, the ones people most often mistype from a receipt or flyer.
- Use capital letters and numbers. Most checkouts ignore case, and mixed case only adds confusion.
- Add dashes for long codes. K7QM-3XPA-9WTD is much easier to read than K7QM3XPA9WTD.
Importing into your store
Download the CSV for a spreadsheet or a discount import: it has one code per row under a code heading. Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and most bulk-discount apps accept a list like this; set the discount amount, expiry date and usage limit in your store, since the codes themselves carry no discount. Use the TXT file or Copy all to paste the codes into an email tool or mail merge.
Keep the downloaded list somewhere safe until the codes are loaded into your store. Codes aren't saved on this site, so generating again gives a completely new set.
