- 2Type the watermark text or choose an image, then set the size, colour, opacity and layout.
- 3Check the preview and download the watermarked PDF.
Features
- Text or image (logo) watermarks
- Size, colour, opacity, and diagonal or straight
- Once in the centre, or repeated across the page
- Live preview of the real result
- Up to 20 PDFs at once, no upload
Add a text or image watermark to every page of a PDF: CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, your name or your logo. Choose the size, colour, transparency and angle, place it once in the centre or repeat it across the page, and check the live preview. Works on many PDFs at once, and nothing is uploaded.
When to use a watermark
- CONFIDENTIAL or INTERNAL on documents you share with a small group.
- DRAFT on work that isn't final, so no one mistakes it for the finished version.
- SAMPLE or COPY on documents you send as examples.
- Your logo or name on designs, photos and proposals, to show where they came from.
Getting the look right
- Keep opacity around 20–35% for text over content; it stays visible without hiding anything.
- Use Diagonal for the classic look across the middle of the page, and Repeated to cover the whole page.
- For a logo, use a PNG with a transparent background so only the logo shows.
The built-in fonts draw Latin letters, numbers and common symbols. To watermark in another script, create the text as an image and use it as an image watermark.
A watermark labels a document and discourages copying, but it isn't security: someone with a PDF editor can still remove it.
